Our Creed: People Helping People  1.   Our purpose is to financially assist physically handicapped individuals in need of prescription medication, medical expenses, transportation, food, rent, and electric as long as funds are available.  2.   From time to time, hospital equipment is donated. These items are distributed by Help The Handicapped, Inc. on a first-come, first-served basis for those whose need is greatest. Examples are: wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, etc.  3.   Help The Handicapped, Inc. by-laws state that a handicapped person must have a physical impairment of the motor skills, such as: speech, vision, hearing, paralysis or any other physical impairment as determined by our Board of Directors.  4.   Financial need will be determined by our Corporate Officers based on the applicant's financial status.  5.   Written verification of an individual's physical disability by his/her physician is also a necessity.  6.   Pre-fabricated wheelchair ramps are also available for those who qualify.
